Made in Canada

The year is 2012. Pro-football player James Yurichuk had played four seasons, won a cup, and was heading to Toronto with his Brazilian girlfriend. It didn’t take him long to find out that when people say any city in Canada is colder than Vancouver, they mean it.

Armed with a hopeful heart, he set out to find a winter coat for his girlfriend. Only to draw a blank.

But Yurichuk refused to back down. He sought out a friend, who was an exceptional tailor. A few days and one vegan, eco-friendly, made in Canada jacket later, history was born.
